The event will be held at the Rákóczi Center sports hall (Székelyudvarhely, II. Rákóczi Ferenc street, no. 84). Parking is available at the venue depending on availability, but we recommend taking the bus. This year, we are launching two free bus routes that will cover the main roads of the city twice. In the morning, they will bring participants to the conference venue and take them home after the conference/comedy show. The exact route will be published on our Facebook page.

The conference begins on Saturday, September 14, at 10 AM, with registration starting at 8:30 AM. We recommend arriving as early as possible, by 9:30 AM at the latest, as seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. In the morning, you can already grab coffee, fruit, and other snacks. We will not be able to allow entry after 10 AM, so latecomers can join during the coffee break.
The comedy show starts on Saturday, September 14, at 8 PM, with registration starting at 7 PM. Again, we recommend arriving as early as possible, as seating is first-come, first-served.

After purchasing your ticket, you will receive a ticket with a QR code via email, which you can show either printed or on your phone. (We are referring to the ticket with your name and the text: From Zero to HERO). We will scan this with an app.

Similarly, after purchasing your ticket, you will receive a QR code via email, which you can show either printed or on your phone. (We are referring to the ticket with your name and the text: Bödőcs Tibor – Barbárglamour). We will scan this with an app.

No, anyone can enter with the ticket. However, it’s important to note that each ticket can only be validated once — the app will show the ticket as invalid on the second scan. Therefore, it’s important not to share your ticket with others or publicly.

No, you won’t need it. Originally, we planned to scan these QR codes for lunch, but we’ve since changed the location, and the lunch concept has been updated. Therefore, the Lunch ticket labeled tickets will not be necessary.

During registration, you’ll receive a small white pouch containing three plastic Xs. The red X can be exchanged for the main course, and the white X for dessert during the lunch break. There are 9 main courses (3 vegetarian) and 3 different desserts to choose from, which you can combine as you like (the full menu is available on our Facebook page). Our volunteers will collect the red and white Xs at lunch. The black X can be exchanged for a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic drink served after the conference.

Presentations will be in Hungarian and Romanian. There will be simultaneous translation between the two languages — you can request headphones at the entrance if needed.

At the end of the first speaker block, the Elite Dance Company will perform, led by Natália Beáta Zsombori, a choreography student at the Hungarian Dance Academy. During the coffee break, you can watch a performance by the Golden Feet children’s hip-hop group, led by Andrea Demeter.
During the coffee and lunch breaks, four illustrators — Andrea Bellu, Krisztina Csiszár, Örs Kiss-Páll, and Tünde Nagy Sándor — will create caricatures of you, so feel free to approach them!
The band Friday Rehab will perform during the lunch break and the toast after the conference.

We recommend smart casual attire — you can leave the tie at home this time.

In the days following TEDxUdvarhely, we will send an evaluation form via email. Each year, we are curious about how participants rate the event, what they particularly liked, and what we could improve on. We kindly ask you to take a few minutes to fill out this form — your honest feedback is very important to us.
