Erdély Bálint Előd

My acquaintance with photography began with a black-and-white 35mm film in the early ’90s. I also mastered the elaboration and laboratory work of films at that time, which still determines my attitude towards photography: I like to spend more time with photography than with retouching and post-production. That’s why I consider myself lucky to have experienced the great “revolution” of photography. I have been looking forward to a closer relationship with the profession since 1995, my first photo exhibition in which I participated as an exhibitor.

If a subject is very engaging, I come back to take photos for days, sometimes months. It could be a man, a life story, a folk craft.
