In 1987, he became the parish priest of Șumuleu Ciuc (Csíksomlyó). Throughout his pastoral ministry, caring for young people has always been his highest priority. In 1992, he founded the Csibész Foundation to support young people leaving orphanages. Since then, he has helped many of them find employment, secure housing, and integrate into society. He also established family-style children's homes to provide the most vulnerable minors with a more loving and supportive environment. Since 2008, he has served as the president of the Csibész and Lázár Foundations, as well as the Csibész Youth Association.
